The Microwave & THz metamaterials special interest group (SIG), part of the UK Metamaterials Network, would like to recruit an early career and a mid-career researcher/professional (ECR-P/MCR-P) to their leadership team. If you are an ECR-P/MCR-P, who works on Microwave & THz metamaterials, please complete an application form (external link) by 5 pm on Sunday 6th September 2026.
The group are particularly interested to hear from people who represent community groups and backgrounds that complement the current leadership team (Drs Milo Baraclough, Riccardo Degl’Innocenti and Stephen Henthorn). Specifically, the team would like to broaden gender balance and are also interested in ECRs with a strong record of public engagement and community outreach.
