These awards allow NetworkPlus members to explore promising ideas and respond to emerging opportunities across six key focus areas of terahertz science and technology, by funding travel, mobility, and small-scale pump-priming activities (including generating pilot data) with the potential to grow into significant breakthroughs.
We particularly welcome proposals designed to initiate or build on early-stage collaborations between UK and other European research groups, with a focus on supporting early career researchers.
Three sizes of award are available, enabling tailored funding depending on the scale and scope of the proposed project:
- Small Awards: maximum funding £2,000
- Medium Awards: maximum funding £5,000
- Large Awards: maximum funding £25,000
Successful awards will be funded by the NetworkPlus at 80% fEC, with the remaining 20% fEC funded by the host research organisation.
