This information is collected in order to facilitate the activities of the NetworkPlus.

We will also direct you to a separate form to enable us to collect data for EDI monitoring purposes. These questions are all optional. This information is collected to monitor the diversity of the NetworkPlus membership.

Data sharing and security

Membership data will be stored in a database hosted by WPEngine, in accordance with the University of Leeds information protection policy. This data will be accessible by the Project Lead (Professor John Cunningham), Project Manager (Dr Tiffany Hicks) and co-leads of the SIGs you subscribe to.

EDI data will be pseudonymised at the time of registration and stored in a secure standalone database. The data will be accessed by the Project Lead, Project Manager and EDI lead (Professor Emma MacPherson) only. Trends in EDI data will be shared outside of the NetworkPlus, including with the Engineering and Phycsical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC); however, since this data is pseudonymised, it will not be identifiable to you. Ethical approval has been sought and granted for this data collection (reference EPS FREC – 2025 3671-5561, University of Leeds).

Data retention

Your data will be retained for two years after the end of the NetworkPlus funding period on 31/05/2028, and will then be destroyed.
